Tool log

Is that Martin Bashir?

Posted by Ted on 03.02.10
Living in a democracy means that sometimes the public gets what the public wants, and in the case of tool hire it seems that The Cuddle Monster and Captain Stress Relief are what the public wants. No problem, we can handle that.
Here's another one of your videos with El Capitano this time in the style of documentary reportage (?) in probably Tool Hire's most professional outing yet. But one question, Sanjiv are you mean't to be Martin Bashir or Johnny Depp?

Witney witnesses true artistic talent

Posted by Ted on 28.01.10
Witney, that sleepy hollow on the road to Cheltenham, famed for its Chiltern brickwork, country pubs...and now one of its beret wearing, brush wielding inhabitants. Never before have so many owed so much to so few. Pierre, mon cheri, you did your cheese eating countrymen proud.

Our favourite masterpiece has to be the portrait of David Cameron closely followed by the Diversion road sign.

Boff!

Mr Film Noir meets Lady GaGa

Posted by Ted on 26.01.10
It all started off so well. The dark alleyway, the tense, pitch perfect script, even a tiny begging lady, but then, just when you thought you understood where this cinematic piece de resistance was headed. Bang! Out she comes.
Won't say anymore. Except... Theo, you did well to hold on to the camera. I think the guy was just jealous of your moves.
One magic V.I.G. SIM winging it's way to you as fast as the nation's mail will carry it...so should be with you next month.

Who you going to call? Poo Handler apparently.

Posted by Ted on 20.01.10
The snows came, most people decided to build snowmen or throw it at one another, but Kevin here thought that wasn't enough. He thought that he would hire out the Poo Handler. It makes some sense because the dog mess stands out quite well against the white background, plus there's nothing worse than a tobogganing session that ends with a mixture of snow and Ex-Pedigree Chum in your gob.
So thank you Kevin from Leek (Leek, really?) we enjoyed your video. The GhostBusters soundtrack was a nice touch. If only you had one of those ghost trap things that sucked in the poo. Ah well.

Tool Hire Deliveries

Posted by Duncan on 14.01.10
We’ve been trying from the start of Tool Hire to reach as many orders as possible, but the tools are in demand and we have been limited by how far our Tool Hire van can make it in a day.

We have had some really keen potential Tool Hireys contact us from the far North of Scotland and over the water in the Republic of Ireland, and it has always been a shame when we have had to say that we can’t get the tool to them. We’ve also had some absolute chancers from Australia and the US who will have to wait until Gimp goes on his holidays.

So, it was really nice this week when Kelvin (our master of the Tools) made one of those unfortunate calls and found out that Laura from Aberdeen was so keen to hire a tool she was willing to come and join us for an afternoon of Photo Booth action on the streets of London.

Laura, we are really looking forward to seeing your Photographer handiwork.

In other giffgaff news, Captain Stress Relief has been spotted providing some tactile respite from the snowy conditions on the mean streets of Bristol. Things got so bad that the Captain himself took a tumble on the ice. And I think it is the measure of a true superhero that he has not edited out that gaff from the final take.
