The Karaoke Busker

Posted by Ted on 20.11.09
So you saw a brief glimpse of our technological, telephonical invention yesterday, well it is in fact called the Karaoke Busker. It comes in the guise of a granny's tartan shopper, which after a bit of fiddling transforms into a phone-in ghetto blaster.
We're guessing the hirer will be playing the music and the public will be singing...via a phone.

We've filled the shopper with goodies, including; car battery, amp, car stereo system and some nice woofers...not forgetting the phone.

The hard bit has been trying to get all that working automatically when someone phones in.
At the moment, we've got a separate Mic which picks up the sound from the Hirers instrument...a guitar? This is so the person phoning in can hear what they have to sing along to.
The tinsel gives it a nice feeling of Phoenix nights. Well that's the idea.

Here's a quick video test. We've cut out the singing. No offense Benita

Just wait until we get the christmas lights on this thing. It'll really set off the mirrored stage a treat.
