The Tool Shed
So you’re probably thinking that giffgaff is being launched by six eccentric old men from a shed. That isn’t quite true. But we do have a shed of sorts. And here it is. This is what we call tidy.

To be honest we’re working from more than one shed at the moment to get all these tools made for the launch of giffgaff. Yesterday we began exploring the art of machining something a bit different.
To start with we weren’t sure if bubble wrap could be machined. Now we’re not sure if bubble wrap can be machined without popping all the bubbles. Popping bubble wrap is meant to de-stress you not the other way round.
Anyway, we’ve made headway today as you can see. The fitting isn’t perfect, but Captain Bubble Wrap or whatever it’s going to be called is coming together nicely.

The loo roll/bubble wrap dispenser has received wide acclaim from within the shed.

The next step is to design the headgear. As you can see our first attempt is too flimsy. Liking the Biggles look though.

This is where we bring you words, images and, if you're lucky, video from Tool Hire's engine room.
